Privacy policy

This policy covers this website, enquiries and client projects. It explains what personal data I process, why and for how long. It follows Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Slovak Personal Data Protection Act No. 18/2018 Coll. If the two language versions differ, the Slovak version applies.

Who processes your data

The controller is AP Digital Works s. r. o., Martinčekova 786/30, 821 01 Bratislava - mestská časť Ružinov, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 57064245. Registered in the Commercial Register of the Bratislava III Municipal Court, section Sro, insert no. 189433/B. For anything about your personal data, contact me at info@apdigitalworks.sk. I am not required to appoint a data protection officer and have not done so.

Visiting the website

The website uses no cookies, analytics or advertising tools, and fonts are served from this website, not from third parties. The hosting provider Netlify technically processes your IP address, browser type and time of access on every visit so it can deliver the website and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in running the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Netlify keeps these logs only briefly, under its own rules.

Contact form and email

When you write to me through the form or by email, I process:

• your name, email address and the content of your message,
• any other details you choose to include.

I use this data only to reply and to prepare an offer. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for general questions, the legitimate interest in replying to you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If your enquiry does not lead to a project, I delete the message within 12 months at the latest. If it does, I keep the communication for the duration of the contract and accounting records for 10 years, as required by the Slovak Accounting Act.

Who I share data with

I do not sell your data or use it for marketing. It is processed only by these providers, under contract:

• Netlify, Inc. (USA): website hosting and receiving form messages,
• Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.: email (Microsoft 365).

Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Client projects

When I build or run a website, app or system for a client, the client is the controller of their customers' data. I process that data only on the client's instructions under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Please direct questions about such data to the client.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• know what data I hold about you and get a copy,
• have it corrected or deleted,
• restrict or object to its processing,
• receive it in a machine-readable format (portability).

Just write to info@apdigitalworks.sk and I will reply within one month at the latest. If you believe I handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Námestie 1. mája 18, 811 06 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.

I do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

If this policy changes, the current version will always be on this page with its effective date at the top.
